Certified Nursing Assistant

Hillside Village of De Soto, a skilled nursing and assisted living facility, is currently staffing for CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) positions. We have openings for the following shifts: – 2p-10p Monday thru Friday – 2p-10p Monday thru Thursday – 6a-2p Monday thru Thursday – 6a-6p Friday thru Sunday Weekend shift includes a four hour shift bonus – i.e. work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours. CNA Salary Ranges: $10.00 – 15.00/hr plus 1.5x for overtime. As a CNA you will have responsibility for assisting in the daily care of residents under the supervision of the RNs and LPNs. Experience Required or Preferred: – Complete an accredited CNA course – Valid Kansas CNA license – Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents – CPR certification a plus – Excellent bedside manner – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds – Experience working with an electronic health record system – PointClickCare preferred Hillside Village is located only 10 minutes west of Lenexa and 15 minutes east of Lawrence on KS HWY 10.
