Our Organizations
The De Soto Chamber of Commerce operates with a five member Board of Directors and Executive Director. Under the umbrella of the De Soto Chamber of Commerce, the De Soto Economic Development Council (EDC) has an 11 member Board of Directors which includes five elected members of the business community, four City of De Soto elected officials, the De Soto Chamber of Commerce President and a USD 232 School District representative. With the aligning of all of the resources from both organizations, we provide an enhanced level of support and partnership for the business community. Both the De Soto Chamber of Commerce and the De Soto EDC 's fiscal and board operational structure remains independent, although the unification of both organizations goals and objectives signifies a unified focus on area businesses. Our goals of collaborative efforts are to provide value-added services and events and programs that positively provides return on the membership investment and the community as a whole.

The De Soto Chamber of Commerce is proud to provide a FREE marketing opportunity for our members through our Business Highlights section of our website. Created to increase community awareness of our businesses, we provide a new member each week with the Business Highlight. It's a simple yet innovative and important way to showcase your business. All members need to do is submit your logo or photo with a small paragraph about your business. We'll also include your website link so that members can easily find out more about your business.

Your De Soto Chamber of Commerce wants you to be well informed! As such, we send out regularly De Soto Chamber E-News via Constant Contact. This includes advertising opportunities for members.
